That's where I come in

I am Dave Mason PhD. I have been running a successful practice for more than 23 years. People come to me for all sorts of issues. I have no idea how many clients I have seen but it must run into thousands. I have developed a unique style of therapy. My therapy aims to get to the root of the problem, not the symptoms.

I could tell you about all the courses I have been on, or the different methods I have mastered. I could boast of my qualifications, but really it is not about me. The important thing for me, is to understand you.

My focus is always on and what you need. How do I get you the results you want? Results are what count. I find the source of your problem, and then find a way to make it go away. By focusing on the source, instead of the symptoms, we clear away the heart of the problem. That way, you get a faster outcome, one that lasts.

My methods work. No one else does therapy like me.

Unique Therapy Method

Over many years, I have refined years of study into a safe, natural approach to therapy. I am well respected in NZ and overseas. Other hypnotherapists ask for my advice almost every day. My books are used by hundreds of therapists around the world.

I combine academic study of psychology and theory of mind with modern hypnosis methods. My focused approach gets results when others have failed. In fact, I guarantee that you will get a positive improvement with my method.

I am a professional member of NZAPH (New Zealand Association of Professional Hypnotherapists). I am a past Vice President. I am trained in supervision and counseling, and I supervise new therapists. I am an approved provider for ClearHead. I present talks at professional health conferences.

I spent most of my life as full time university lecturer. I have taught and presented research in universities around the world. I wrote three textbooks used in university classes. I have been on more training courses than I can remember.
